Boost your Creativity

I like to spend ten minutes a day reading up on topics I am usually not confronted with — the manufacture of marshmallows for instance.
It keeps the brain challenged and opens your mind to new views and hence new ideas.

I’d like to go take a walk every now and then, free my head and try to avoid thinking ’bout work at all. Nature is always the best way to relax, especially in this time of the year!

well, thats great, sometimes when im trying to get an idea, i think about a horse that gets all four legs cut in half at the same time. i wonder how that would look, and thats the moment where my creativity gets to its highest.

This question shares wall with the question “How do you come up with that stuff?” that my girl friends and guy friends ask. the answer is sooo complex. i have always been this creative person and never knew how to express it until i found out photoshop and ever since my brain and photoshop have been dating. i like to think negative and positive from a different perspective and then i picture those thoughts clashing and with a little bit of music and a fresh stock in front of me, my brain goes into work. i just help it see.

It’s interesting you can condition your creativity. If you create the same environment every time you feel a flow of creativity coming up (for example a certain type of music, coffee, your favorite couch…), your brain makes an association between the creative phase and those elements. You’ll actually be able to trigger creativity by e.g. drinking coffee or sitting on this favorite couch – the more elements constitute your surrounding, the more likely you might cause an elevation in creativity!
